Hallmark rolls out new line of layoff greeting cards

Friend lose a job? Hallmark wants to help
With unemployment numbers staying high, there's a new way to reach out to someone who may have lost their job.
In the business of selling sentiments, there's a card for everything. Cards with sound for sympathy, for losing a tooth. But losing a job? Yes, now there's a card for that too.
Hallmark recently rolled out a new line of layoff greeting cards. A specific section for job loss and recession humor - offering words of support and encouragement.
With the unemployment rate at 9 percent, the company says customers called in the need.
The new cards are getting mixed reviews. Some say people who lost their jobs don't need a reminder.
Others say the messages reflect the current culture - perhaps, a sign of the times.
