MIT student from Goa, Andrea Colaco develops a touch- free phone technology

Andrea Colaco PHD student has invented the next breakthrough in mobile technology. All cell phone makers are trying to understand what the next invention will be ? “ Gesture Recognition” which Andrea has invented is certainly a step up. It allows users to interact with their devices through thin air –making the touchscreen technology totally redundant.
Andrea Colaco is an engineer from BITS, Pilani of the 2007 batch. After her engineering she has been with MIT for her masters and PHD
She also won the MIT $100K entrepreneurship for her invention “3dim” solution
We may never have to touch our cell phone screens again.
