Swedish Epidemic: Peeing on Food!
What happened in the Swedish supermarket?
A man in Sweden was caught peeing on selected fruits and vegetables, as reported by The Local at the time. Shoppers in the store stared at him in disbelief when they saw him urinating on apples and oranges.
Police were called and the man was arrested. Both the people and the police said they had never seen such a thing. The man, it seemed, was intoxicated and had no clue what he was doing.
All the fruits had to be thrown away (naturally!).
Was this the first time it happened?
No. A year earlier, a drunken man (again!) was caught peeing on pizza. In that case, a 29-year-old truck driver was denied beer by the restaurant staff because he was already too drunk. The driver got into a fight — and put his stamp on the pizzas by urinating on them.
