Imran Khan Turns Photographer: An Exhibition of Kareena Kapoor's Pictures Clicked by Her Co-Star

Actor Imran Khan turned photographer on the sets of his film Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, and the result was an exhibition of candid portraits of his co-star Kareena Kapoor, shown to the press in Mumbai on February 3, 2012.

Khan clicked the pictures during the film's shoot. Some were taken on an iPhone, some on SLR cameras — and he was quick to share the credit: on-set photographer Amin Ahuja was helping him throughout, Khan said, "because I am not a professional photographer."

Kapoor was visibly flattered by the result. "I think it's the first time ever one of my co-stars has clicked beautiful pictures of me. So, thank you Imran," she said at the press meet at Cinemax. She added that she'd never tried her hand at photography herself — "Maybe Imran can give me some lessons."

The exhibition was part of the publicity push for Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Karan Johar's production directed by Shakun Batra, which released on February 10, 2012. And Kapoor had her own verdict on her co-star's new side career: "Imran is a good photographer, but a better actor."
