Man Arrested for DUI Wears the Dumbest Shirt Possible
If you're going to get arrested for drunk driving, the one thing you should absolutely not wear in your mugshot is a shirt that reads "Drunk As Shit." Tell that to 21-year-old Ross McMakin of Corvallis, Oregon.
In March 2014, McMakin allegedly drove onto a sidewalk and smashed into a parked car — twice the legal blood-alcohol limit, according to the Corvallis Gazette-Times. His excuse for driving? His girlfriend didn't know how to drive a stick shift. When she tried to take the car keys from him, he allegedly choked her. He was charged with drunk driving, reckless endangerment, harassment, and strangulation.
But it's the shirt that made him internet-famous: his mugshot showed him wearing that "Drunk As Shit" tee in enormous bold letters, advertising the very crime he was being booked for.
